Oddly enough, Lost is one of the very, very few shows that I am not addicted to. My Wednesday line up is pretty slim, perhaps I will have to look into enlarging my addiction. The invention of the DVR has made the possibility for new addictions almost limitless. Three in a row, I am so proud!
Lol, my little addicted sistor! I guess at some point I am going to have to rent the series to watch. Of course I work on Wed so that might put a kink in the addiction. :) It is fun to have a show to look forward to!
I am so hooked! I would definitely agree with renting before you jump in, I could never possibly explain all that's going on. bttrfly's comment on the limitless "possibilities" of DVR is so true. I do get more family time because I feel no obligation to sit and watch the shows, however, I get no sleep because I stay up and watch what I've recorded.
LA and i ended up renting season 1 since we didnt see all the shows. VERY compelling. and its much better to rent/buy last season, b/c you dont have to wait a whole week between cliff-hangers. we bought season 2 with every intention of watching them all before season 3 was on tv. that didnt happen. now i hear they're not running reruns of season 3 during the fall break. so i guess we're stuck buying season 3 on dvd too....
Jack and Kate were our other options for Halloween, but Edgar and the Ravn won out
MIT - That sounds great! I actually invited people over this season (the ones I knew were fans - sorry I didn't know about you, poet or LauraAnne). So I would be willing to help host it too. If it's okay, on nights that Hubby is counseling, I might need it to be at my house. The kids would be in bed by then.
I'm an extroverted introvert who is becoming more truthful with myself and others. I love stories. Writing is an obsession. I also sing constantly and tend to be compulsive about finding one song I listen to over and over driving my family to the brink of breaking my c.d.s. I'm an okay Mom who adores her kids. I'm glad to have a patient husband who still, after seventeen years of marriage, gives me goosebumps with his kiss.

My recommendation would be to rent some from the first season to get really hooked. Otherwise you may be, well, lost.

thebarefootpoet - Yea! Another Lost fan. :)
Dad - You're so cute. I don't know if this would be your cup of tea or not. I don't exactly like the Three Stooges so I guess we're even. L
Bless me Father †, for I am ADDICTED!
:) I am totally into this show.

MIT - Laughing. You too? I think we need a Lost club.

LA - You guys would be adorable as Jack and Kate! But I loved the creativity of your Poe and Raven costumes. :)
Actually I would be willing to host a Lost club at my house, if anyone was interested.
