Oh, what a beautiful picture of the church!! I'm teary. The scene where the fellowship is formed really strikes me. They are all so different but they come together for the cause. And of course, the scene where Farimir (sp?) dies always gets me. Gosh, I may have to break out the DVDs tonight now :-)
I love you...so, so much. My church family is precious to me. I couldn't make it without them.
I don't have the words to describe how moved I am by this. Those images of fellowship and trust and heartbreak and victory remind me of why that story is so embedded into who I am. Much love back to you, girl, and to all my beloved community at Rivendell.
BTW supermom, that was Faramir's brother, Boromir, who joined the fellowship and died (therefore regaining lost honor) in a desperate attempt to protect Merry and Pippin. He often reminds me that at rock bottom of a horrible mistake you can still choose to love and sacrifice those you journey alongside of.
I'm an extroverted introvert who is becoming more truthful with myself and others. I love stories. Writing is an obsession. I also sing constantly and tend to be compulsive about finding one song I listen to over and over driving my family to the brink of breaking my c.d.s. I'm an okay Mom who adores her kids. I'm glad to have a patient husband who still, after seventeen years of marriage, gives me goosebumps with his kiss.
